Richard Martin Reass
Dick Reass is the original investor and founder of Segin Systems. His passion for process improvement led to his business plan which has proven to be the foundation of his success. Since 2004 Dick has focused his attention on the strategic planning and business development of RynohLive. As an independent provider of software technology for the settlement industry, he has successfully brought his dream to the marketplace. Dick has always challenged the field of technology. As a Captain in the United States Navy, he became the Assistant Chief of Naval Personnel for Management Information Systems. From there he went on to become the Director. As the Principal Designer for Manpower Reporting and Accounting Systems, he led the paperless service record conversion. Dick received his BBA from the University of Texas and his Post Graduate degree in Engineering Systems. As Dick moved forward with his career he founded Reliant Title in 1998. Located in Virginia Beach, VA Reliant is in the forefront, utilizing leading edge technology. Reliant Title has been recognized twice as Realtor Affiliate of the Year. Reliant underwrites for Old Republic and Stewart Title.
Dick's success in the title business allowed him to follow his passion for process improvement using Reliant Title as a beta test site for his software development. In 2004 he moved from Reliant Title into Segin Systems full time. His vision of process improvement and systems integration led to the step by step development of RynohLive. He is the designer and architect for the complete software application.
With the support of his family, Dick continues to realize his passion. His wife of forty three years, Madelyn is a Private Banker in Virginia Beach. His son Matthew oversees the operations for Reliant Title. Keeping the business in the family has allowed Dick to utilize the daily operations of Reliant Title in the development of RynohLive.
Jia Zhu
Jia joined Segin Software Inc in 2006 as a Senior Software Developer. His responsibilities include the development of the RynohLive Reconciliation Engine, RynohLive Generic Bank connector, RynohLive management module and the RynohLive Scheduler. Jia is the lead developer for multiple other software projects at Segin Software. Jia has a Master's Degree in Computer Science from Old Dominion University and a Master in Electrical Engineering from the University of Science and Technology of China. Prior to coming to United States in 2001, he was the vice director of the Software Technology Lab in the Computer Center of the University of Science & Technology of China. Jia has published more than 10 papers in refereed journals and has co-authored 2 books in the Computer Science field. Jia's interests include Artificial Intelligence, Natural Language Processing and Signal/Image Processing.
James Purcell
J.D. began his career at Segin Software Inc in 2007. With more than ten years of experience in programming, he is the lead developer and technical support representative for RynohLive. His responsibilities include the architecture and development of core sections of RynohLive. J.D. has developed the online banking retrieval system, the three way reconciliation module and the underwriter fraud detection alert module for the RynohLive product suite. He has developed web applications for e-commerce, online scheduling and video and audio applications. J.D.'s personal interests include staying up to date and following technology news, playing drums and contributing to open source software.
